Wonderful Experience

Wonderful Experience

In December 2023, We completed the Manaslu Circuit treak with Touch The Himalaya. Madan, the owner, was the best company for Us, offering the cheapest price and free gearsand poles. The trek was magnificent, quiet, and less explored. Roshan, the guide, was experienced, kind, and considerate, taking us to the best teahouses and restaurants. Our porter Ramesh was also kind. The scenery was vast, and the trek was not as challenging as expected. Highly recommended for booking with Touch The Himalaya with Madan and Guide as Mr. Roshan.

        Unforgettable Experience

        December 31, 2021

I was expecting; fun, challenging and good value. I booked a trekking online from Germany.
I met Kabindra in Kathmandu, Kabindra took care of everything around the trekking - pickup, drop at airport, Q&A about Manaslu circuit & Kathmandu as well as. Sincerely grateful to him for having my transit Visa to India ready when I came back from the trek.

During Manaslu trekking, our guide and Raju, was knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. As we were a group of 4, he was making sure the group stay together even if we had more or less the same pace. Every night after dinner, he’d explained the next day's program and ask for any concerns. On top of that, he made fruits to share. That personal touch is meaningful since fruits couldn’t be found in high altitudes.
I truly recommend Touch the Himalaya

        Experience of a lifetime

        December 31, 2019

I contacted several agencies before the arrival in Nepal, but only Touch the Himalaya provided the combination of itinerary, service and price that I was expecting. Madan always answered my emails very promptly and I felt he was someone I could trust. The eventual itinerary was a 14 day trip to the Manaslu Circuit with Roshan as a guide. Roshan was excellent and his knowledge of the route. Madan and Roshan are from the Manaslu area and both were expert in guiding. Roshan was patient and very good company during the trek. We did make some changes to the itinerary along the way and Roshan was happy to accommodate, after explaining the various options available. The trek itself was incredibly diverse and beautiful.
I would like to recommend Touch the Himalaya, if anyone is looking for a trek to Manaslu, then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Our guide was Raju, and we are now good friends! He was a great guide: always knew the names of the mountains, animals, and plants we saw, shared stories about Nepali culture and Buddhist/Hindu culture, and always had apple and pomegranate in that magical backpack of his.

All in all we highly recommend Touch the Himalaya to help you plan your trip in Nepal. We also highly recommend the Manaslu Circuit, as it was such a beautiful experience.

        Remarkable experience to Manaslu Trek

        December 30, 2019

I just returned from the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Touch the Himalaya team and must admit that trek to Manaslu was remarkable experience of my lifetime. The panoramic beauty of the mountain was outstanding. The guide Arjun and porter we took were brilliant, caring, friendly and gentle. We choose this company because of the recommendation of our friend and was worth. They managed to keep us on qualitative tea house. We loved daal, vaat and achar which was our guides choice :). They encouraged us during the tough spots which were impressive. We definitely choose this company in the upcoming year, Arjun especially and would like to recommend others too.

        Fantastic Manaslu Trek

        December 21, 2019

Last November me and my friend did the Manaslu Circuit Trek, which was organized by Touch the Himalaya Treks and Expedition. Madan, the manager, is very easy going and makes you feel welcome from the start. They took care of all the necessary arrangements, from all the permits to our airport pickup and a very nice hotel to stay before the trek.

During the trek, we were guided by Bisnu, who is from the Manasly area himself.
He is an experienced guide who took very good care of us and is familiar with many of the locals. We got along very well and had a lot of laughs along the way. I think trekking with a guide really contributes to the whole experience. It is easier to make contact with the locals and you can learn about the area and culture.

I would definitely recommend Touch the Himalaya Treks and Expedition and our guide Bisnu to anyone planning to go trekking in this area.

        Great company Touch The Himalaya

        December 9, 2019

I contacted Madan to inquire about a Manaslu Circuit Trek. From the first contact he was very kind, clear and incredibly helpful. We ended up using Madan’s services to book a guide and permits and the entire process was flawless.

My friend and I had so much fun with our incredibly knowledgeful guide Bishnu. He could be calm, full of local knowledge about the environment and at the same time we feel like we made a friend that we could have a drink with and laugh. Bishnu would always make sure we were okay and we could ask him anything.

We will always be thankful to Bishnu and Madan for everything they have done for us and hope to be back in Nepal soon so we can do our next trek with them!
