The temple is famous for its 108 water spouts (Muktidhara), where pilgrims bathe to purify sins, and the Jwala Mai Temple, which has a natural eternal flame alongside a water spring.

    Outline Itinerary of Hindu Pilgrimage Tour 8 Days

    Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and visit Pashupatinath
    On Day 1, you will arrive in Kathmandu and check into your hotel. After some rest and refresh, you'll visit the famous Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. You can explore the temple area and watch the peaceful evening aarti on the banks of the Bagmati River.

     Day 2: Kathmandu Durbar Square and other Temples
    On Day 2, you will explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site full of ancient palaces and temples. Later, you'll visit Budhanilkantha Temple, where a large statue of Lord Vishnu lies on a bed of snakes. You’ll also go to Doleshwor Mahadev Temple, which many believe is connected to the sacred Kedarnath Temple in India.

     Day 3: Manakamana Temple
    On Day 3, you’ll travel to Manakamana Temple, a powerful shrine dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati. To reach the temple, you’ll ride a cable car and enjoy amazing views of rivers and hills. Once at the top, you can offer prayers and experience the peaceful surroundings.

    Day 4: Drive to Pokhara and Bindabasini Temple
    On Day 4, you’ll drive to Pokhara, a beautiful city known for its natural beauty. After checking into your hotel, you’ll visit the Bindabasini Temple, one of the oldest temples in Pokhara, dedicated to Goddess Durga.

    Day 5: Pokhara Sightseeing
    On Day 5, you’ll explore some of Pokhara’s best-known attractions. You’ll take a boat ride on Phewa Lake, visit the sacred Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave which houses a Shiva lingam, and see the nearby Devis Falls, a stunning waterfall with a unique underground path.

    Day 6: Drive to Jomsom and Muktinath Temple
    On Day 6, you’ll begin an early morning drive to Jomsom, a small mountain town in the Mustang region. From there, you’ll continue on to Muktinath Temple, a very holy site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The temple is located at a high altitude, and many pilgrims bathe under its 108 water spouts as part of their spiritual journey.

    Day 7: Return to Pokhara and Scenic Views
    On Day 7, you’ll drive back from Jomsom to Pokhara, enjoying incredible views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. You can relax in Pokhara for the rest of the day and reflect on your pilgrimage.

    Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu Departure from Kathmandu
    On Day 8, you’ll drive back to Kathmandu, which takes about 6 to 7 hours. Depending on your flight schedule, you can go straight to the airport for your departure or spend another night in the city.
