2 Day Poon Hill Sunrise Trek Itinerary at a Glance from Pokhara to Pokhara.
Day 1: Pokhara – Ulleri-Ghorepani (Drive + Trek)
Morning drive from Pokhara (1.5 hours) to Nayapul, then continue to Hille or Ulleri or to Nange Thangi by jeep (approx. 3–4 hours). Start hiking towards Ghorepani if driving ends at Ulleri or Nangethati (drive depends on the road condition. After Lunch, hike about 3-4 hours to Ghorepani, Overnight at a teahouse in Ghorepani. Enjoy mountain village vibes and local food.
Day 2: Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Pokhara
Early morning hike (approx. 1 hour) to Poon Hill for the famous sunrise view. Watch the golden rays light up Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and more. Return to Ghorepani, have breakfast, and hike down to catch the jeep back to Pokhara. Arrive in Pokhara by late afternoon or early evening.
