Great experience!
I knew I wanted to trek the Annapurna Circuit, and I was actually planning on doing it all alone with my partner. However, he talked me into getting a guide and porter through Madan at Touch the Himalayas. I am so glad that I followed my partner’s advice! The porter and guide that Madan set us up with (Shankar & Manoj) were two really great guys who had great attitudes, spoke great english and had lots of interesting tidbits of knowledge about the region. Madan himself was a fine pleasure to talk to, and eventually became my friend over the 5 months I stayed in Kathmandu.
If I have the opportunity to go on another trek, Madan’s office will be one of my first stops once I arrive in Kathmandu.
