Friendly honest and knowledgeable!
My trek to Langtang and Gosainkund was not only stunningly beautiful, but also well-managed by our guides, Rabin and Raj. They were excellent, going above and beyond in every portion of our trip. Raj guided my group of eight to the top of Tsergo Ri (4,982 m) in the snow, a real challenge. After that I continued alone with Rabin, and I was glad to have his company. Because I love to walk, I completed the solo half of my trek more quickly than was scheduled– and Rabin happily agreed to keep walking with me as other hikers (and their guides) were already beginning to relax at tea houses.
Most importantly, while some trekking companies feel commercial, Rabin and Raj were more like our friends than our guides — though they did a healthy amount of work, arranging our meals and lodging in usually the best hotel in our price range, carrying our packs when we couldn’t, curing our altitude sickness, providing encouragement, etc.
I will definitely use this company again when I return to Nepal!
