    Itinerary for 12 Days Everest Base-Camp Trek

    Day 1: Fly to Lukla – Trek to Phakding
    Take a scenic 45-minute flight to Lukla, offering aerial views of the Everest region. After landing on the mountain runway, meet the crew and begin your trek through the Dudh Koshi Valley. Walk on a well-trodden trail, passing small villages and crossing suspension bridges before reaching Phakding.
    Day 2: Trek to Namche Bazaar
    Today’s hike includes multiple river crossings via suspension bridges and entry into Sagarmatha National Park. A steep climb leads to Namche Bazaar, a bustling Sherpa town and trading hub. If weather permits, you’ll catch your first view of Everest. Namche offers cozy teahouses, shops, and some of the best coffee and brownies on the trail.
    Day 3: Acclimatisation in Namche
    Spend the day adjusting to the altitude. Take a short but steep hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning panoramas of Everest and Ama Dablam. This “hike high, sleep low” approach helps your body acclimatize. Return to Namche for the night, enjoying the town’s unique mix of culture and modern comforts.
    Day 4: Trek to Tengboche
    Walk along a beautiful ridge trail high above the Dudh Koshi River, with views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. After descending to Phunki Tenga for lunch, begin a steep ascent through rhododendron forests to Tengboche. The village is home to the largest monastery in the Khumbu region, offering a spiritual backdrop.
    Day 5: Trek to Pheriche
    Descend through forests and cross the Imja Khola before ascending to Pangboche, a village with spectacular views of Ama Dablam. Pass Mani walls and prayer flags as you continue toward Pheriche. The day is filled with scenic mountain vistas and insights into Sherpa culture, ending at the tranquil village of Pheriche.
    Day 6: Acclimatisation in Pheriche
    Use today to rest and acclimatize, essential for the days ahead. Explore the nearby valley, visit Tshola Tsho lake, or hike up to the ridge overlooking Dingboche. From the top, enjoy magnificent views of the Imja Valley and the towering Lhotse. Stay hydrated and relaxed in preparation for higher altitudes.
    Day 7: Trek to Lobuche
    Follow a wide valley with peaks like Cholatse and Tawache rising on either side. Stop at Duglha for lunch, then ascend steeply among memorials dedicated to fallen climbers. Continue gently uphill along the glacier to Lobuche. The landscape becomes more rugged, and the air thinner, offering dramatic Himalayan scenery.
    Day 8: Trek to Everest Base Camp via Gorak Shep
    Start early, trekking alongside the Khumbu Glacier. Reach Gorak Shep for lunch before continuing on a challenging route to Everest Base Camp at 5364m. Navigate over rocky terrain, glacial debris, and ice pinnacles. After taking in the sights at Base Camp, return to Gorak Shep for the night.
    Day 9: Climb Kala Pattar – Trek to Dingboche
    Rise before dawn for the climb to Kala Pattar (5641m), the best viewpoint for Everest. Watch the sun rise over the Himalayas and soak in panoramic views of Everest, Nuptse, and the Khumbu Icefall. Afterward, descend to Dingboche via Gorak Shep, enjoying lunch en route. A long but rewarding day.
    Day 10: Trek to Namche
    Trek downhill through forests and rivers, retracing your steps back to Namche Bazaar. The descent includes scenic stops like Tengboche and its monastery. Expect rhododendron and birch forests, wildlife sightings, and a gradual return to lower altitudes. Enjoy the lively atmosphere and comforts of Namche after several nights in remote areas.
    Day 11: Trek to Lukla
    Follow the Dudh Koshi River back to Lukla, crossing several suspension bridges and passing familiar villages. Reflect on your achievement as you finish your final day of trekking. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with your guides and porters, traditionally hosted by the group in appreciation of their support.
    Day 12: Fly to Kathmandu
    Take an early morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. Enjoy one last look at the mountains from the sky. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the city at your own pace. Overnight in Kathmandu.
