Trekking to Kyanjin Ri in Langtang Valley region of Nepal
Trekking to Kyanjin Ri in the Langtang Valley was a beautiful experience as i witnessed nature at its best with beautiful flora and fauna. The mountains were amazing and the fast flowing river was a sight to behold. I started the hike on 3rd February and completed on 9th February 2019. From Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa, I experienced snowy trek with heavy snowfall in Kyanjin Gompa. The stay at Nurling Kyanjin Gompa Guest House was itself an interesting experience as it was the Tibetan New Year and were served with their traditional cookie and also the hotel owner’s relatives were dancing the traditional Tibetan dance.
Trekking on the following day to Kyanjin Ri first peak at 4300m was easy. However we could not proceed to the second peak at 4779m due to the unsafe condition of heavy snowfall. I would like to thank Touch The Himalaya Treks & Expedition especially My. Madan Nuepane for organizing the trekking. I did not face any problem as the trekking was well organised by him. The guide, Mr. Rishi Ram Adhikari was very professional and was also very friendly and a jovial guy. I would definitely recommend to any hikers intending to hike in any part of Nepal to use the services of Touch The Himalaya Treks & Expedition.
