Touch the Himalaya Trekking Review
My name is Bill and I have just returned home after trekking in the Everest region on the Himalayas. My guide was none other then my Himalayan Sherpa himself mr Rajesh. When you arrive in Nepal and walk thamel looking for a trekking company it is such an incredibly difficult choice to choose which company to use. I finally settled on touch the Himalaya company as I was drawn to the very friendly and extremely knowledgable staff there. This is because there is no “boss” as such but the company is owned by a group of actual guides. This makes a massive difference. Rajesh spoke perfect english and his knowledge was impeccable. Every and I mean EVERY mountain in the region he knew the name of and the exact hight and even the difficulty of climb.
I am personally more into mountain climbing then trekking, however I went on my trip to get an up close view of mountains that I one day wish to summit, and it was so amazing to have such a knowledgable guide as it made the trip so much more special. Even the other people whom where trekking with different companies said to me how much they liked my guide and how he was better then theirs. I feel externally lucky to have been able to take the himalayan Sherpa, mr Rajesh as my guide and am proud to be able to call him my friend now. I will 100% be using Rajesh from touch the himalaya again for my return trips to the Himalayas. Thank you touch the Himalaya and especially thank you to my guide and friend Rajesh! See you soon.
