Pisang peak 6091m is the most popular peaks climbing in Nepal in Annapurna Himalaya range. Trekkers with little experience in climbing can combine the popular classic Annapurna circuit trekking with Pisang Peak climbing.Pisang peak located above Pisang village and yak pastures is a uniform slope of ice and snow. Pisang peak is considered as one of the easy peak among other type of peak climbing. To reach the base camp from Pisang village, the path ascends through sparse wood and pasture to a Kharka ( at 4,380m), which is considered the best place for creating the base camp. High camp is set up at (5,400m) climbing to a shoulder on the South-West Ridge .

Pisang Peak climbing starts from Besisahar in the valley of the Marsyangdi River . The trail leads you through vastly contrasting flora & fauna towards the majestic peak of Mt. Manaslu and Lamjung Himal. A major intersection of the trail meets at Dharapani while trekking through Larkya La. The Massif of Manang valley is rich in unique culture and landscapes infact the Annapurna and Damodar peaks dominate the valley. The trail from here follows a demanding walk to the Pisang Peak . A technical section takes you to a place from where you can catch the entire panorama of the Annapurna Himalaya Range . The trail then ascends from the Manang valley to reach the top of the Thorong Pass at 5416m. After this, you have a chance to visit the famous temple of Muktinath . The final part of the trek takes you to Jomsom from where a flight will transports you across the great Himalayas to Pokhara or you can continue make trekking through Ghorepani ,poon hill .There will be snow at the high camp from the end of November to the end of March. The well-defined ridge leads to the final snow slop, which is quite steep but not difficult to reach the summit. Descent is made on the same route. Day Description
01 Arrival in Kathmandu. On your arrival Tribhunvan international airport, please look our airport representative together with Touch The Himalaya Treks show board with your Name written on it. Then ,you will be transfer to hotel.
02 After breakfast, you will have 2/3 hours sight seeing around Kathmandu Valley that includes Buddhanath, Pashupatinath, Patan Durbar Square and Swambhnath Stupa with professional tour guide. Finally,you will have meeting with trekking guide, who will support you for trekking preparation.
03 Drive to Beshishahar, which is some 178 Km. and will take some 6 hrs from Kathmandu.A driving will direct along the Trishuli and Marshyangdi rive,which are popular rafting destination in Nepal. Overnight in the Beshisahar.
04 Trek to BahunDanda (1310m.),which means “the Hill of the Brahmins” ,the major cast of the Nepals’ midhill. It will take approximately 6 hrs. Then, rice field where the water available can be seen. July- October is the month they grow rice and millet as well at the same time.
05 Trek Bahundanda to the Chyamje (1430 m.) Actually for these few days the chance to see the White Mountains is less but the hilly mountains will also attracts you.We can see waterfall in this day.
06 Trek Chamje to Bagarchhap (2160m.) Now slightly and gradually the trail is hiking up. We will pass number of nice settlements and villages along the route .Tal is the nice village to have lunch. Bagarchhap is the small village from where we can see the mountains behind you.
07 Trek Bagarchhap to Chame (2670). You will continue to the forest of the Fir and rocky declivities with the view of the Manaslu and Annapurna II (7939m.) .Chame is the capital of the Manag district situated in the bank of Marshyangdi.
08 Trek to Pisang (3200m.) with spectacular waterfall sighted near Brathangs village where small stone memorial is erected in memory of the Japanese hiker, who died passing the ghat Thorong La, since he stayed in the snow storms for many days. Pisang is in the lap of the Pisang peak which is popular peak to climb.
09 Lower pisang trek to Pisang peak Base Camp. (4573m).
10 Pisang peak base camp to Pisang peak High Camp. (5030m).HJT climbing guide will teach you how to fixed the rope ,some climbing tips than will train near by Pisang peak base camp. overnight at pisang peak high camp.
11 Morning, we will start going to the top. After camp 1, we will go up in the gully, traverse to the right, up on a wide stone field, cross the ridge to the glacier. Always beware of the crevasses. You are nearly halfway. Have a good trip to the top of the pisang peak 6091m and safely down. The same day,we will back to the Pisang base camp
12 In this day.we will return from Pisang peak base camp to Manang (3540m).
13 Manang acclimatizing day. During this day, you can hike up to ice lake or Gangapurna tea shop, from where you can see panoramic himalayan views of the Mt. Manaslu 8163m, Mt. Annapurna II 7937m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Gangapurna 7455m, Tilicho peak 7134m,Pisang peak 6091m etc.Then,we will back to Manang and overnight at Manang.
14 Manang trek to Yak kharka (4210m).
15 Yak kharka trek to Thorung phedi (4640m)/ Thorung High camp (4800m).
16 Start the climbing early in the morning. This is the most awaited day for your Nepal trip. The top of the Thorong La (pass) 5416 m. is the highest point for the whole period. Muktinath is the name of the Hindu God with the meaning of the “God of Salvation”. The Sep- Oct fest is the most interesting and crowded. Apart from this, this is the greatest example of the co-relation and harmony between Hinduism and Buddhism.
17 Trek to Kagbeni 2800 m. Kagbeni is the Gateway to Upper Mustang. The monastery supposed to be some 500 yrs old which is situated in the town. Upper is only permitted with the special permit granted in the limited number per year with high royalty . That is 700 US$ per person.
18 Kagbeni to Marpha 2670m passing through Jomsom,where the airport is situated with the connection to Pokhara. The Jomsom is the capital of Mustang district with the government offices. The Eco-museum serves here with the collections of Mountains. Marpha is the village of the Thakali peoples; the local inhabitant and the apple garden and apple product is the most popular around the area.
19 Trek to Ghasa 2010 m. Ghasa is small town near the Kaligandaki River and popular for the bird watching. The trail from Marpha to Ghasa taken as the deepest gorge in the world. Because of the mountain Annapurna I 8091m. and Dhaulagiri 8168 m. high on both Sides of the River making deep valley.
20 Ghasa to Tatopani 1190m. “Tatopani” literally means hot water in Nepali and there is the natural hot spring with the small bathing pool. You can enjoy the hot spring pool & relax after long walking.
21 Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani 2850 m. Tatopani to Ghorepani is all the way up. This will long way up but it will be easier anyway than the climbing above Manang.
22 Climb up to Poon Hill 3210 m. Early in the morning,we will take approximately an hour to view the sunrise and the Mountains including the Annapurna South 7219 m., Fishtail 6993 m., Himchuli 6441 m. and other Annapurna ranges, Dhaulagiri 8168 m. This is the most popular view point of the Annapurna region. After the breakfast,we will trek down to Tikhedhunga 1577m. The trail is in the jungle of the Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal. It is believed that there is the 9 different species of Rhododendron in this area.
23 Trek to Nayapul for 3 hrs along the river Bhurundi. The Birenthati small town in the confluence of the river Bhurundi and Modi from Annapurna Base Camp and then we will drive back to Pokhara through the curves road. Finally,we wil have tour around the lake, rest and relax in city after 18 days in the mountain.
24 Tour around the Pokhara City and overnight stay in the Hotel in Pokhara.
25 Drive back to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus/Car/Flight.
26 Final Departure and you will be transferred to airport.
