Overview

With an elevation of 8,586 meters, Kanchenjunga in the Himalayan Range is the third-highest peak in the world. Kanchenjunga, which has five summits, four of which are higher than 8,450 meters, is known as "The Five Treasures of Snows." It is situated 46 miles northwest of Darjeeling, an Indian city, on the border of Nepal and Sikkim. Mount Kanchenjunga is located in the eastern part of Nepal.

It is among the best expeditions we have to offer. We have committed teams made up of capable mountaineers with sufficient background in high-altitude and general mountaineering to climb mountains. They will make sure that team members are technically proficient, physically and mentally prepared, and are able to move between camps with ease and self-sufficiency. You will have a confident leader if you join this squad. Your chances of succeeding in mountain climbing will be increased as a result. As expected, the team leader will be with you at all times during the adventure.

TRIP HIGHTLIGHTS

  • The first ascent of Mount Kanchenjunga was made in 1955 by Joe Brown and George Band, who were part of a British Expedition team.
  • When it was declared that the peak was indeed the third highest on earth in 1856, things began to shift.
  • Kanchenjunga was thought to be the highest mountain in the world before Everest was discovered.
  • Kanchenjunga is a massif made up of five distinct peaks rather than just being a single mountain.
  • The peak is really found on the boundary between India and Nepal.
  • It is the third-highest mountain in the world with a height of 8586 m.
  • One of Nepal's most famous mountains is Mount Kanchenjunga.
