Depending upon the altitude and the region problems such as high altitude sickness, mountain sickness, pulmonary edema (fluid accumulation in lung), cerebral edema (swelling in brain caused by low oxygen) and hypoxia (pathological condition in body) can occur.

WHAT TYPE OF ACCOMODATION DO WE OFFER ?
We can provide two types of accommodation during trekking - teahouse and camping. Teahouse accommodation is provided through lodges and hotels run by local people. They tend to be small, charming and clean. They offer a range of diifferent requirements with varying prices. On the other hand, The Himalayan kingdom of Nepal is also completely suitable for camping with sub-tropical jungles and mountains. Camping can be a more interesting way to trek however because of the logistics involved it does cost more than teahouse accommodation

WHAT SORT OF EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED FOR TREKKING ?
We can manage all the required equipment and clothes for you. However, if you need additional equipment then you can buy here in Nepal or you can bring it with you from your own country.
ARE TREKKING PERMITS REQUIRED IN NEPAL ?
The government of Nepal no longer requires a trekking permit for Mt.Everest, Langtang, Annapurna and some other regions. Conservation permits or national park permits are required however. There are a few restricted areas in Nepal that require trekking permits such as Manaslu, Upper Mustang and Nar Phu.
